Hello AMS Families,

We're excited to see everyone at Open House on Monday!

What to Expect: You will attend classes just like your student does. You'll spend about 10 minutes in each of your child's classes where you will meet teachers and learn about their courses and AMS. 

Arrival & Schedule

  • Arrive by 4:30 PM - ALL parking lot accessible doors will be open at 4:20 PM. Please feel free to utilize any of the doors noted on the map to enter the building. 

  • Find your student's schedule on ProgressBook (see login help below)

    • Be sure to double check your child’s schedule before you arrive and print it or write it down. Scheduling is quite involved and we work right up to the doors opening to ensure we are providing students with as many of their desired courses as possible. Please know we will not be printing schedules for families on Monday.

      • Lastly, the lead up to the start of school always brings lots of questions. If you have reached out about your child's schedule please know that we are working through those questions as quickly as possible. Someone will be in contact with you. We appreciate your patience!

  • Follow the times below to move between your student's classes (there will be announcements to help you know when to rotate to the next period).

Parking & Building Access

Please know that parking at AMS is limited. We understand it's not always possible but if families can limit to one car on campus it always helps! The map below shows all paved parking areas as well as AMS entry points for the evening.

 



ProgressBook Login Help Your student's schedule is on ProgressBook - no printed copies available.

School Supplies

  • Monday: You are welcome to bring supplies to your child’s 1st period teacher. 

  • Want to donate? Bring tissues or Clorox wipes to your student's 1st period teacher

Lockers

  • All students can have a locker if they wish. However, we find many choose not to use a locker during the day.

  • Students can stop in the office to complete a locker request form during the first week of school. 

  • Students bring their own lock and give the combination to the office.

PTO -  PTO will be at Open House located near the main entrance of the building. Stop by and introduce yourself. If you have PTO donations you can drop them there.

Action Item for Parents Please update your family information in OneView so we have current contact details and your student's health information.
